Shah Rukh Khan Honored at DIFF

Bollywood King Shah Rukh Khan has recently got his first international award in his entire career at Dubai International Film Festival (DIFF) for his lifetime contribution to cinema. He received his DIFF Salutes trophy from Abdul Hamid Juma, chairman of DIFF.

After taking the award, King Khan expressed his feeling in the way:

"This is my first ever international award and I want to thank DIFF from the bottom of my heart,"

Mr. Khan is in favor of Indian films style and does not like to follow western culture. He said:

"Everyone has a story to tell and their own way of telling it. Acceptance of our cinema in the West is desirable commercially, but we do not need to change our way of telling our stories to be accepted”

King Khan has been the unofficial king in Bollywood in the recent years. Most of his movies are now getting hit at the box office.
