Bollywood's BIG EVENT in ENGLAND

The famous IIFA award is going to be held this time in London. The award ceremony will be held next June at Yorkshire. The four day ceremony will be held in Leeds, Bradford, Hull and York. More than 480million viewers will be watching the ceremony through television. Sheffield's Hallam Arena has been chosen as the venue of the event. Karan Johar, one of the top Bollywood directors and the host of popular talk show “Kofee with Karan” is now staying London to promote the event. He is staying in the five star Courthouse Hotel which was previously used as a magistrate’s court. The 34 year old director is very happy about the event. He said that it was a huge event and wherever it has traveled left its mark. He also said that the event would increase tourism and revenue in the area and would do tremendous amount inter spreading word of Indian cinema in England.

The Indian Film Academy Awards started its journey in 2000. That year, the show was held in London at The Millennium Dome.
