Model Parmita Katkar Brings a Piece of Bollywood to her Wedding Ceremony

If you did not have any idea regarding the wedding custom of India and would attend the marriage ceremony of Parmita Katkar, former Femina Miss India Asia Pacific, model and popular face of television, then you would surely pick up a wrong idea regarding the Indian way of marriage ceremony. Yes, there was something in the recently held marriage of Parmita Katkar with a Hyderabad based NRI, Sagar Kurada.

The whole marriage ceremony was like a Bollywood studio as the venue was decorated with the posters of hit Bollywood movies like Sholay, Chini Kum, Don. Many models, TV personalities and media persons were present while the bride and groom were exchanging wedding vows in the ceremony.

Parmita choose a Bollywood theme for her wedding. The wedding décor had movie posters of Sholay, Chini Kum, Don and other popular blockbusters with pictures of the heroes and heroines morphed with Parmita and Sagar’s pictures.
Even the wedding invite was Dilwale Dulhania Le Jaayenge poster picture. But of course it had the faces of the bride and groom instead of Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol.

That must have been something interesting to look at. Guests must have given their gifts and wishes for the couple, but these posters were the gifts for the guests on behalf of Parmita Katkar and Sagar Kurada.
