Deepika Padukone and Akshay Kumar together in ‘Chandni Chowk to China’

Deepika Padukone is one of the emerging stars of Bollywood at present. The actress has been the biggest surprise of 2007. Coming into lime light with the debut film Om Shanti Om, Deepika Padukone still continues hitting the headlines with the lucrative offers from the high profile directors and her romance with Ranbir Kapoor.

Now, Deepika Padukone is currently shooting for two movies. Besides the Yash Raj Films’ Bachna Ae Haseenon, opposite Ranbir Kapoor, Deepika is now also involved in Nikhil Advani’s next movie Chandni Chowk To China. Deepika will be seen opposite Akshay Kumar in the movie and this is going to be first action movie for Deepika Padukone. Moreover, with this movie Akshay Kumar makes his comeback to action roles. The movie also features Mithun Chakraborty in a significant role.

Produced by Ramesh Sippy Entertainment & Orion Pictures, the movie is going to be distributed worldwide by Hollywood production house Warner Brothers Pictures. So, you can see that it is going to be a high profile movie in fact. Based on the screenplay of Sridhar Raghavan, the movie seems to hitting the screens with some surprises. Shankar- Ehsaan- Loy will compose the music of the movie.

This is going to be first time, Deepika Padukone and Akshay Kumar are going to share screen space together. So, let us see if their on-screen chemistry wins the hearts of Bollywood fans and brings out box office success.
