Sreesanth and Priyanka Chopra: Next Couple Representing Cricket and Bollywood?

I earlier posted an entry on Yuvraj Singh’s speculated love relationship with Bollywood actress Raima Sen. Now, while going through the internet; I found another rumored relationship between Bollywood and Cricket, though it is still a rumor. Indian pace bowler Shanthakumaran Sreesanth and Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra are going to star together in a television commercial for Lux. Reports also have it that the two are having telephone conversation and one of their conversation has been leaked to the media. However, the young pacer considers Priyanka as a very good friend.

Hindustan Times reported:

Not Priyanka Chopra? Apparently, you’ve been close friends.. and talk on the phone for hours.
Priyanka is a very good friend. I wouldn’t ever hide the fact that I like someone. I’m very real. I don’t shy away from speaking the truth. But besides Priyanka, even Kareena Kapoor is a good actress. And of course, Sridevi and Madhuri Dixit.

So whom are you seeing currently?
Turning to big brother Dipu Santhan. Whom am I seeing? No one. I’m single, single, single.. ready to mingle, mingle, mingle.

Have your teammates teased you about the tape of a conversation between Priyanka Chopra and you.. the one that was leaked to the media?
Not yet. But I’m sure they’ll rag me about it soon.

Sreesanth is an interesting character both on and off the field. He made the headlines in number of occasions for his funny activities. On one of his tour to South Africa, he danced with his bat after hitting a six. Actually, over the last one year, Indian cricketers have been linked with Bollywood actresses many times. Mahendra Singh Dhoni was linked with Priyanka Chopra, while Yuvraj Singh was linked with Kim Sharma and Deepika Padukone

Actually, it is not the first time cricketers have been linked with Bollywood actress. A lot more previous evidences exist. Now, let us see if Sreesanth and Priyanka Chopra turn into the next pair in the queue.
