Aishwarya Rai Bachchan to Star Opposite Rajnikanth in Tamil Movie ‘Robot’

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has finally agreed to play the female lead role of the Tamil movie titled Robot. Directed by S. Shankar, the movie will also feature Rajnikanth in its male lead role. It has been reported that, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will be paid Rs 6 crores that will make her the highest paid actress of India. It was earlier reported that Aishwarya might come of this movie deal as director S. Shankar wanted to shoot Aishwarya’s portion in the movie over the two years, which the actress was reluctant to do. Now, according to recent reports, the director has agreed to shoot Aishwarya’s scenes first. So, it will not take much time from Aishwarya to complete her shooting for the movie.

But Shankar has agreed to shoot Ash's scenes first, and then move on to Rajnikanth's portions.

According to sources, Ash will be getting Rs 6 crores for this film, the highest an actress has ever received for a film.

Here, it is noteworthy that, Rajnikanth became the highest paid Indian actor with receiving Rs. 16 crores for his recent blockbuster Sivaji: The Boss. Famous music composer A.R. Rahman will compose the music of the movie Robot.
