Mobile content industry is getting larger gradually in India. Mobile music, ring tones and other downloadable items are becoming popular to the youth. Now, according to a recent survey, Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif are the two most popular Bollywood stars in the mobile content industry. The industry has already become a multi-million dollar industry in the country. Some other male Bollywood stars who are popular in mobile content industry are Salman Khan, Hrithik Roshan, Akshay Kumar, and Sanjay Dutt.

If industry insiders are to be believed, SRK is the king of the mobile content industry and Katrina Kaif the sultry diva of the Indian cinema is the queen of the mobile content industry.

The study also says that states including Delhi, Rajasthan, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Punjab and Maharastra are amongst the top in terms of content downloads.

With the development of technology, the handsets are getting developed and the prices of the sets are being lowered. Thus, mobile content industry is also getting larger. I think, the industry will be increasing in the years to come as the number of mobile phone users will be increased.
