Salman Khan Offered Rs 89 crores for Hosting a Television Show for Sony

Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan all are stars of Bollywood. All of them have presented many hit films for the fans of Bollywood. However, when it comes to hosting a reality television show, Salman Khan remains far behind than Shah Rukh Khan and Amitabh Bachchan. Well, if the recent reports are to be believed then you have to admit that Salman Khan is not far behind.

According to recent reports out in the media, Salman has received a gigantic offer from Sony to host a television show which is now under processing. For hosting 104 episodes, Salman Khan is reportedly going to receive Rs 89 crores.

Reports also have that Sony is launching this show as an answer for Star Plus’ upcoming reality show “Kya Aap Paanchvi Pass Se Tez Hain?” which will be hosted by Shah Rukh Khan.

India Times reported:

No prizes for guessing that this is Sony's answer to Star Plus' show Kya Aap Paanchvi Paas Se Tez Hain? to be hosted by Shah Rukh Khan. The Sony show is expected to kick off in June, which is on an around the same time as King Khan will come on Star Plus.
Kya Aap Paanchvi Pass Se Tez Hain? was scheduled to be aired April 18 onwards (mock rehearsals have begun at Shah Rukh's residence), but is now likely to be delayed, with the launch of the 44-day cricket bonanza Indian Premier League (IPL) tournament, where SRK's Kolkata team is also playing, coinciding with it. Reportedly, SRK is trying his best to push the telecast to a later date.

Salman Khan has a huge fan following by his own. So, it seems that Sony has found the right person to launch their new reality television show. Though Salman could not present any big hit movie in the last couple of years, the actor is still very popular to his fans. Now, let us see if Salman Khan can bring similar success for Sony that Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan did with “Kaun Banega Crorepati” for Star Plus.
