Aishwarya-Abhishek and Salman-Katrina in Kite in Jaipur

The natural place of Bollywood stars is in the movie screens. Now, they are in the kites too. It is the time of kite festivals in some parts of India. Any festival is incomplete without the Bollywood stars. So, kite makers have found a great way to earn some extra cash by putting the pictures of Bollywood celebrities inside their kites. Aishwarya-Abhishek and Salman-Katrina are very popular among the kite makers. Poor Shahrukh Khan. He is having a tough time to share his popularity with the other celebrities.

For Makar Sankranti, Jaipur's markets are flooded with kites of all shapes and sizes. But it’s kites on Bollywood stars that are making a special splash.

Kites on hot jodis – Aishwarya - Abhishek and Salman - Katrina will sashay in the clouds.

Airborne clashes between Bollywood biggies Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan will be a novel draw for kite enthusiasts.

“People are really liking the kites made on film actors. Stars like Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Abhishek and Aishwarya are very popular these days. We have made lots of kites on them and these filmy kites are selling twice as much as other kites,” said Iqbal Khan, shopkeeper.

We often complain that Bollywood copies Hollywood. Well, may be we have one exception here. I do not know anything about Hollywood stars making their place in the flying kites. I think that Hollywood can learn from Bollywood this matter.
