Shaurya and the Dream of Minissha Lamba

What career Minissha Lamba would have chosen if she had not come to acting? The answer is war reporter. Yes, Minissha Lamba, the beautiful Bollywood actress, aspired to become a war reporter and her idol was Christiane Amanpour, the famous war reporter.

Now a days she is really happy as what she couldn't achieve in her real life she can now enjoy in her reel life. In Samar Khan's Shaurya Minissha is portraying a war-reporter. It's not all that we have to tell you about Minisha's career options. As we all know that there always been an inspiration behind what one wishes to be. In case with Minisha there was a reporter named Christiane Amanpour, the million dollar war reporter of CBS News and CNN.

Christiane is famous for her reports of Persian Gulf War as well as the reports of Bosnian War. Many times she faced controversies because of her so-called biased reports. But she continued her job and due to her reports of tensed war-zones of Kashmir, Czechoslovakia, as well as Middle East countries she achieved incomparable fame. Now a days she is spending time helping others and sharing her own loneliness.

Well, Minissha is not the first lady to play the character of journalism. Earlier, in Lakshya we have seen Preity Zinta playing the character of Romila Dutta, a war reporter.

Minissha thinks that women should be more diversified in their journalism profession. They should go for covering crime, politics, sports, economics and international news. She thinks that women can work better as neutral reporters.
