Shilpa Shetty to Participate in the Popular British TV Show Big Brother

Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty is going to participate in a UK based TV show Big Brother. She was selected by the producers for her outstanding appearance and sex appeal. For this show she has to live in a house for three month without keeping any relation with the outside world. She will be paid 31.5 million rupees (362,300 pounds) for this popular show. I have gone through a Reuters report regarding the news and I am quoting some lines from that report:

"My sex appeal lies in my body and my body language. My carriage, my eyes, my smile... everything," Shetty was quoted as saying in the newspaper.

Shetty is famous for her svelte figure and tantalising dance routines. She has acted in over 35 films and was applauded for her role as an AIDS victim in the 2004 film "Phir Milenge" or "We will meet again".

Big Brother will feature around 13 celebrity contestants who are closeted in a house for three months with no access to the outside world. Each week, one of them will be voted out by the audience.

The newspaper said speculation was rife that Shetty would compete with celebrities including pop diva Whitney Houston, party girl Tara Reid and Kevin Federline, the ex-husband of Britney Spears.

It is also reported that most of Shilpa Shetty’s housemates will be British Celebrity. It is a good news for the Indian film industry too that in a popular British TV show ahs invited a person from their industry.
