Deepika Padukone Attends the Launching Ceremony of New Whisky

Deepika Padukone makes her Bollywood debut with Farah Khan’s upcoming movie Om Shanti Om which is set to release on 9 November 2007. The movie cast Shah Rukh Khan in the male lead role whereas Deepika plays the female lead role in the movie. Deepika has also come into the lime light before the release of the movie. Deepika has recently joined in the launching ceremony of the New Chivas Regal 25 Whisky in New York along with Bollywood director Karan Johar.

Oscar-nominated Hollywood star Julianne Moore, wearing a beautiful Lanvin dress complimented with Fred Leighton bracelet, received the first bottle on behalf of the city of New York.
Chivas Regal Master Blender Colin Scott led the guests through the world's first tasting of this sumptuous Scotch.

Deepika Padukone is yet to rise to the stardom. So, it was something bigger for her to join to the ceremony where some of the Hollywood stars also attended. It is expected that Deepika will rise to the stardom with the release of Om Shanti Om.
