Amitabh Bachchan gets Lifetime Achievement Awards in Asian Film Awards

Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan has received lifetime achievement award at the annual Asian Film Awards which was held in Hong Kong in late Monday. This 67-year-old actor has got many awards in his career but this award is special for him as he could represent his own country India in Hong Kong. People not only recognize him but also recognize India in this festival. This prize brings honor and pride for India. He has been acting in Indian film industry in four decades since 1970s. He has appeared in more than 100 movies and got 9 Lifetime Achievement Awards from various organizations in his long career. Japanese director Yamada Yoji got this award last year.

Bachchan family, including son Abhishek and daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai (former Miss World), is called the most famous acting dynasty in India.

He also says that he has no plan to retire. This legend actor wants to work as long he can. This year Amitabh Bachchan also won the best actor award in the 59th Filmfare awards for his eye catching performance in “Paa”. He acted as the child of Abhishek Bachchan.
