Reports available in the media suggest that Shah Rukh Khan is planning to sell off his IPL franchise Kolkata Knight Riders which he bought last year before the inaugural IPL season. This is a rumor came out in the media after the 9-run defeat of Kolkata Knight Riders in their 7th match against Mumbai Indians in the ongoing IPL 2009. Reports also claim that the actor has already approached Anil Ambani Group, Sahara Group and Nokia to buy his IPL franchise.
Well, Shah Rukh Khan has already made it clear that Kolkata Knight Riders is not for sale. However, the actor has recently left South Africa after being disappointed at India’s devastating performance so far in IPL 2009. Shah Rukh Khan, however, ensured that he would not be back to South Africa unless Kolkata starts winning again. Out of their first 7 matches, Kolkata Knight Riders could win only 1 match so far in IPL 2009.
