Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan will be the main attraction in IIFA Awards

India’s most prestigious award, IIFA Awards, is going to arrange its 11th ceremony in Colombo Sri Lanka this year. It will start from 3-5 June. Almost all the glittering stars of Bollywood will attend in this function. Among them, only three are expected to catch the media attention and they are Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan.

Amitabh Bachchan is the brand ambassador of IIFA Award. Shah Rukh Khan will be one of the most attracted stars as he will be gracing the occasion after five years gap. He last took part in the award ceremony in 2005. Another famous star is Bollywood hunk, Salman Khan. It is also reported that he will be the brand ambassador of a cricket game between Indian celebrities and Sri Lankan cricketers. Fans may see Shah Rukh Khan doing stage performance in this event.

No doubt, their appearance will make the event a special one. It is also said that the presence of Big B is going to create more interest. The reason is that he was almost on the edge of canceling his trip due to the on going protest by the Tamils all over.

However, Tamils tried to convince Amitabh Bachchan to boycott the event to show unity with them in protest against Mahinda Rajapaksha Government for treating the Tamils in a humiliating way in the period 2007-2009.

However, nothing could protest him from taking part in this event.
