Will Madhuri Dixit accept the offer to play the role of Sonam Kapoor’s mother?

It looks like that former Bollywood actress, Madhuri Dixit, is very much interested to make her return to the Hindi film industry once again. To express her desire to come back into Bollywood, she stated that she was set to play any significant role and age factor should not be a big problem.

Madhuri Dixit was out of film for long time. Her last film, Aaja Nachle, in which she acted as Diya was released in 2007. Now, fans are excitedly waiting to see her performing on a big screen.

The beautiful actress has already got many offers from Indian producers and directors. Anil Kapoor was one them who offered Madhuri Dixit to play the role of Sonam Kapoor’s mother in the Hindi version of Freaky Friday.

However, Madhur has not given her final decision yet. She is thinking about the role seriously whether to accept it or not. If she accepts the offer then movie loves may see Madhuri Dixit and Anil Kapoor performing together almost 11 years later.

They were seen acting together in 'Pukar' (2000), 'Beta' (1992) and 'Tezab' (1988).

In the Hindi version of Freaky Friday, Madhuri Dixit will not play the female lead role. The female lead role will be performed by Sonam Kapoor.

Freaky Friday is a popular English movie that was made based on the novel of the same name by Mary Rodgers. The question is that if this type of story will be able to get attraction in India.

Mallika Sherawat will not be seen in Murder 2

The news of Mallika Sherawat not being selected in the sequel of Murder will make her fans surprised. Sri Lankan actress and model, Jacqueline Fernandez, has replaced replace Mallika as the female lead of Murder 2.

It is not unknown to her fans that she has established her position as actress in Bollywood with the film Murder. She surprised the audience showing her acting ability in Murder. So, fans expected to see her in the sequel also.

No doubt, Mallika Sherawat should feel unhappy for not casting her in the female lead role, but she didn’t take it very seriously and she said “OK” for being replaced. She said,

“I have no regrets about not doing Murder 2. I am perfectly OK with whatever decision has been taken”.

Mallika Sherawat’s last film Hisss failed to earn huge revenue at the box office. She was asked if she was troubled for the failure of her last film.

I cannot see any strong reason to select Jacqueline Fernandes in the place of Mallika Sherawat. The former Miss Sri Lanka has already acted in some Hindi films already. But her films didn’t do well at the box office. The question arises in mind is that if she is perfect for the female lead role in Murder 2.

Mallika Sherawat is now excited about making her debut on TV. She will be seen judging in a new dance reality show Chak Dhoom Dhoom.

Mallika Sherawat will judge Chak Dhoom Dhoom- Team Challenge on Colors TV

Almost all top stars in Bollywood have made their appearance in a different reality shows. It seems that Bollywood actress, Mallika Sherawat, is perhaps following their foot prints as she is going to make her debut in a new TV dance reality show Chak Dhoom Dhoom- Team Challenge.

She will make her appearance as one of the three judges in this new TV reality show on Colors TV. Other two judges are Javed Jaffrey and Terence Lewis.

Javed Jaffrey is called dancing legend while Terence Lewis got popularity as a top modern dancer. They will observe on the technicalities of dancing.

You should feel interest to know what Mallika Sherawat would do as a judge. As a judge, she will observe participants’ attitude and appeal in the dance show.

Mallika Sherawat is very happy for her new role as well as she is excited about her debut on TV. She thinks that it will help her to reach closer to children and people.

Chak Dhoom Dhoom- Team Challenge reality show has started from 14^th January 2011 at 9:00 PM and it will be showcased every Friday and Saturday at 9.00 PM Only on COLORS.

DreamWorks Animation’s new project The Monkeys of Bollywood

If you are a fan of animated film then you should heard the name of DreamWorks Animation. It has got huge success with a computer-animated film which was made based on China’s most iconic genre, the kung-fu epic.

Now, this studio is keen to get equal success with another foreign cultural project. They will make a Bollywood-style animated musical titled The Monkeys of Bollywood.

British-based Indian filmmaker, Gurinder Chadha, has joined her hand with Oscar winning composer A.R. Rahman for the project. It is heard that Gurinder Chadha and her husband will produce the DreamWorks project and A.R. Rahman will score music for the movie.

A.R. Rahman wrote on his Twitter account that he was excited about entering the world of DreamWorks Animation.

Stephen Schwartz, American musical theatre lyricist and composer, has also been included in this project.

The idea of this animated movie has taken from Indian epic, Ramayana. It tells the story of two monkeys who try to stop an ancient demon from conquering the world.

It is true that Bollywood is a big film industry which releases movies around the world. But the reality is that Indian people is that much fan of animated film. So, I am not optimistic about this new animated movie.

I hope that every parent will go to the cinema hall with their kids and watch animated film.

Imran Khan weds Avantika Malik in Pali Hill bungalow on Monday

It is heard that Imran Khan’s uncle Mansoor Khan, grandmother Zenaat and some aunts will be joining in the honeymoon trip. Avantika Malik has chosen a luxury island hotel in Phuket as her honeymoon resort.
