Music Album of Mumbai Salsa Launched

The upcoming movie, ‘Mumbai Salsa’ is going to be released on 26 October 2007. Linda Arsenio acted; Mumbai Salsa will introduce a bunch of debutants in Bollywood. Recently, the music album of Mumbai Salsa has been launched in the market. With lyricist Sameer, Adnan Sami has successfully completed his assignment as a music director in the movie. The movie depicts the life of discotheque.

Directed by Manoj Tyagi, Mumbai Salsa seems to be a middle category movie. It is true that the movie has little chance to make a buzz in the box office. However, it can generate a handsome amount from the box office. Some talented artists worked for the music tracks of the movie. Adnan Sami, Alisha Chinoy, Shaan, Shreya Ghosal etc have given their voice in the music tracks of the movie. Now, it is yet to see how the people respond to the album of Mumbai Salsa.

Linda Arsenio Coming with Mumbai Salsa

American born actress Linda Arsenio is coming with her second Bollywood movie, ‘Mumbai Salsa.’ The movie will hit the screens on 26 October. Earlier Linda acted in her first Bollywood movie titled ‘Kabul Express’ where she played the role of an American journalist Jessica Beckham. To tell the truth, Linda Arsenio was successful in the movie Kabul Express.

Directed by Manoj Tyagi, Mumbi Salsa is tale of the life of discotheque. As Mumbai Salsa is the second movie of Linda, she should have been junior actor of the film. However, interestingly it seems that Linda Arsenio will be seen with a pool of debut faces in the movie. Manjari Phadnis, Vir Das, Neelam Chauhan, Ray, Indraneel Sengupta and Dilip Thadeshwar will make it to Bollywood though Mumbai Salsa.

Linda Arsenio started her showbiz career in India through Tamil and Telegu movies. However, she worked in Theater in New York. So, Linda Arsenio must have acting talent in her. She has already proven her skill in Kabul Express. Now, let us see if Linda Arsenio can make it bigger in Mumbai Salsa.

Saawariya: Sonam Kapoor Feels No Nervousness, No Pressure

Ranbir Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor acted upcoming movie, ‘Saawariya’, has already created much media attention. The movie will hit the screens on 9 November. This is one of the two big Diwali movies along with Om Shanti Om. It is expected that the movie will face a strong challenge from Shah Kush Khan acted Om Shanti Om.

Directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, the movie titled Saawariya is expected to be a big hit of this year. With the two debut actors in leading roles, Saawariya has already come into the lime light. This is the first movie of Sanjay Leela Bhansali that will introduce two debutants. It is natural to become nervous when it comes to the debut movie. However, Sonanm Kapoor the female lead role of the movie has recently expressed that she is not feeling nervous and there is no pressure on her; rather she thinks it as a dream.

Whatever it is; the main thing is that the movie will have a huge competition with Om Shanti Om. Moreover, Sonam Kapoor will naturally have a hidden competition with Deepika Padukone, the debutant actress of Om Shanti Om. Om Shanti Om: Shah Rukh to Promote the Movie in Nach Baliye

Shah Rukh Khan will appear in Star Plus’s popular dance competition, ‘Nach Baliye’, as a part of the promotional activities of his upcoming movie Om Shanti Om. Having spent so many years, Shah Rukh Khan has sheer knowledge of promoting movies. Om Shanti Om is set for release on 9 November during the Diwali time. Ranbir Kapoor about Saawariya

Ranbir Kapoor has perhaps the best debut that any Bollywood can dream of. You know that his movie ‘Saawariys’ is coming to the screens on this Diwali in India. Diwali is the largest festival in India and that is why, the biggest blockbuster movies are released at that time. So, Ranbir Kapoor is really lucky that he has got the first movie in such a way. Saawariya has already created a lot of attention among the people and media. I have already visited the official website and I got impressed with the quality of the making of the movie. I liked the use of color and design and the whole movie has an artistic flavor in it. Of course, Ranbir Kapoor has to be in the heart of the acting not with the making of the movie. The credit of making of the movie goes to Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Sanjay Leela Bhansali is always famous of making quality movies. So, Ranbir Kapoor is really very lucky to get the opportunity to work with Sanjay Leela Bhansali.

Saawariya is a dream come to true for any debutant. Do you think your dreams have come true with Saawariya?

Absolutely, my dream was to work with Sanjay Leela Bhansali. With that aim, I assisted him in the film Black and today my dream has come true.

According to Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Saawariya is a simplistic young love story. Does that make Saawariya simply special?

Yes. It is a special film for me, for Sonam and for Sanjay. Since, it is our debut-film it is special for us as newcomers. Saawariya is like a baby for Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Saawariya is a fantastic film about an unknown time and a place never visited. But you can still identify with the characters, the time and the place.

The hype surrounding the film is huge and expectations from you are immense. What is going through your mind right now as we talk?

Right now I am a little blank. I am in a state of shock because there is so much happening so fast, and then I dreamt of all these things while growing up, about being an aspiring actor, my first film, my first fan, my first autograph, etc. But when all of this is happening right now in front of my eyes all of a sudden I am speechless. It is quite heart warming. You are right! The hype surrounding the film and its music, its actors and the director will always be there and I hope that when Saawariya releases, the hype sustains and people are not disappointed.

Ranbir Kapoor has got the perfect brake that he needs but much depends on how the viewers accept him in the movie. Sonam Kapoor is also acting in the movie and she is the lead actress in the movie. I have feeling that Sonam Kapoor is getting much media attention these days and people are comparing her with Deepika Padukone who is the lead actress of another Diwali movie Om Shanti Om. So, Ranbir Kapoor should try to make better relationship with the media and should ensure better coverage for himself. Do you agree?

Shahid Kapoor Looking Ahead for the Future

Shahid Kapoor is now in the media headlines for wrong reason. His name is coming again and again because of the break up of Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor. Secondly, Kareena Kapoor is now supposed to be having a romantic relationship with Saif Ali Khan. So, this is a really a tough time for Shahid Kapoor and specially, his latest movie Jab We Met is going to hit the movie screens this Friday. Jab We Met is a story and the irony is that here Kareena Kapoor and Shahid Kapoor are the two lead performers. Shahid Kapoor had very good relationships with Kareena Kapoor for many months. Shahid Kapoor has lot of potential.

Recently he gave an interview to Indiatimes where he felt that he was the underdog. Here is an excerpt:

What's your state of mind right now?

How should it be? I'm up and about and all geared for my next release, Jab We Met . I've just returned from Toronto where I was shooting for Aziz uncle's film. We shot for 56 days out of the 60-day schedule. We're all pooped. But it was fun.

A lot of things happened while you were away. People were speculating about a break-up between you and Kareena. Were you dreading coming back to India and facing the media?

No, in fact I was looking forward to getting back. It was a long stint in Toronto. It felt like I'd lived a lifetime there. I was missing home, family and home food, and couldn't wait to actually get back here. Interacting with the media is fun, it usually is. So why should I shy away? Also, I know exactly what's happening in my life. I'm aware of my personal relationships, and have nothing to fret, for I'm not answerable to all and sundry."

May be Shahid Kapoor is right because he is now 26 and he ahs been in the Bollywood movies for quite sometimes. He got some success but it is not enough. Actually, I think that Shahid Kapoor has not got his due fame in Bollywood. Of course, he has got a lot of money and other things but yet he has not got enough recognition. Shahid Kapoor in the recent years has focused more on quality films. However, you know that in Bollywood there are very few quality films. So, Shahid Kapoor has to work hard and may be someday he can really add some movies that people will remember many years after he dies.
