All about Kiara Advani: A Bollywood actress who ruled the hearts of fans

 

Kiara Advani is an Indian Bollywood actress and famous model who works in Hindi and Telugu film industry.  Today Kiara is shining star of Hindi cinema. Within a very short time she has won the hearts of millions fans. Currently, she is one of younger top Bollywood actresses.

She started her career with the film Fugly. After that she would not looks back. She works in many super hit films as including M.S. Dhoni: Untold Story, Kabir Singh, Machine, Bharat Ane Nenu. She almost completed 16^th movies in her career.

However, Kiara has received her acting identity in Bollywood from the film Kabir Singh. Recently, Kiara Advani's film ‘Shershaah’ has released in OTT platform Amazon Prime Video. After released it became #1 rated Hindi films in 2021 on Amazon Prime.

The story mainly based on a biopic of army officer Captain Vikram Batra which role played by actor Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara played by his fiancée role who vowed to stay in love with him even after his death.

Kiara have garnered lots of appreciations for her work in the movie. Several films actors and critics of Bollywood praised Kiara on her social media platforms. Audiences loved her beautiful and touching performance.

Early life:

Kiara was born on 31 July 1992 in Mumbai, Maharashtra. Her zodiac sign is Leo. She belongs to a Sindhi Hindu family. Her father Jagdeep Advani is a businessman and mother Genevieve Jaffrey is a teacher who has Scottish, Irish, Portuguese, and Spanish origins. She has a younger brother, Mishaal and has a younger sister Ishita.

From her maternal side she included with several celebrities. Veteran actor late Ashok Kumar was her step-great-grandfather and British-Indian actor late Saeed Jaffrey was her great-uncle. Even actress model Shaheen Jaffrey and Juhi Chawla are her aunts.

As well as, superstar Salman Khan is her mother’s childhood friend and Kiara’s family are very close to Shalman that’s why she got the film 'Fugly' in 2014 which was her début launching film produced by Salman Khan.

Born as Alia Advani, she changed her name to Kiara. When she had singed the film in 2014, actor Salman khan suggested her to changed her name. Because top actresses Alia Bhatt was her contemporary.

In an interview to Filmfare in 2019, “she stated that the name inspired from Priyanka Chopra's character Kiara in the film "Anjaana Anjaani.”      

Kiara did her schooling from John Connon School and pursued her graduation at Jai Hind College in mass communication. She had very good at studies and scored 92% in class 12.

Since her childhood she want’s be an actresses and also very passionate about it. For that she developed a good dressing sense even at a very early age. When she just two years old baby Kiara appeared in Wipro BabyShop TV commercial advertisement along with her mother.

Career:

Kiara got her acting debut in Bollywood with Kabir Sadanand's 2014 comedy film Fugly. In the movie she also featured with Mohit Marwah, Arfi Lamba, Vijender Singh, and Jimmy Sheirgill. This film couldn’t perform well in the Box office in India. But, Kiara have positive response for her fresh appearances. 

Then, in 2016 she appeared in Neeraj Pandey's sports film M. S. Dhoni: The Untold Story who was a biopic of popular former captain of Indian cricket team played by Sushant Singh Rajput. In the movie she played the character of Dhoni’s wife Sakshi Rawat, a Hotal manager. This film was the top grossing film of the year with a total gross collection of 216 crores worldwide. Mainly, after this movie she was recognized as actresses by audiences.  

Next year, she was featured Abbas-Mustan direction action thriller film ‘Machine’ which couldn’t do well at the box office.

In 2018, she did her OTT debut with Netflix in an anthological movie ‘Lust Stories’. Where she played a character of newly married wife who won’t satisfied with her husband. Actor Vicky Kaushal played the husband role.  

About her performance, NDTV, Raja Sen found her to be "positively lovely" in it.

Kiara made her debut in Telugu film industry starred opposite the Mahesh Babu with ‘Bharat Ane Nenu’ which is a political thriller film. This film earned 225 corers rupees worldwide and became one of the highest grossing Telugu film. At the end of the year 2018, she appeared in a music video ‘Urboshi’ sung by the Yo Yo Honey Singh. In this video she was performing dance along with super actor and dancer Shahid Kapoor.    

In 2019, Kiara’s first appeared with Boyapati Srinu's Telugu action film ‘Vinaya Vidheya Rama’. This film was a box office disappointment.

After that she came back to Bollywood film with a special appearance in Abhishek Varman's film ‘Kalank’.

Her next project was Sandeep Vanga's romantic film ‘Kabir Singh’ which was a remake of Vanga's 2017 Telugu movie ‘Arjun Reddy’. In this film she paired with Shahid Kapoor. This film proved to be a turning point of her career. As well as her performance was widely appreciated by both film’s critics and audiences.

Her last appearance in 2019 was Raj Mehta's comedy film Good Newwz. Both the films Kabir Singh and Good Newwz became the highest grossing films of the year.

In 2020, Kiara appeared in another OTT film ‘Guilty’ which was released in Netflix.

Talking about Kiara’s performance, Rohan Naahar of Hindustan Times wrote, "Kiara delivers an absolutely electric performance as the unreliable Nanki, a fiery college student with a fondness for Faiz."

‘Laxmii’ was a horror comedy film which has Kiara’s 2nd film in 2020. In this film she played the role of Akshay Kumar wife. Basically, this film was a remake of the Tamil film ‘Kanchana’. Due to COVID-19 pandemic situation, this film was released on theater as well as OTT platform. After released this film received mixed review.

Kiara also appeared Abir Sengupta's directorial debut film ‘Indoo Ki Jawani’. This was one of the first Bollywood films which released after reopening film theater’s duo to the Covid-19 pandemic. in the film Kiara played the role of a girl who lives in Ghaziabad and finds love in a dating app.

On 2th August 2021, Kiara’s super hit film ‘Shershaah’ was released on OTT platform Amazon Prime Video. This action war film is based on the life of army officer Vikram Batra which role was played by Kiara’s rumored boyfriend Sidharth Malhotra and she played the role of his fiancée, Dimple Cheema. After released this film received a lot greatreview. Several Bollywood celebrities praised both Kiara and Sidharth on social media for their marvels performance. Recently a new was published that ‘Shershaah’ become the most watched film on Amazon Prime Video in India. 

Apart from films, Kiara has appeared in a number of magazines and ads. She has also promoting many brands and performing several modeling assailments.    

Upcoming Projects:

Kiara’s is busy with the shooting the film ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’ opposite Kartik Aaryan which was a sequel of Akshay Kumar’s ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa’.

She also assigned with Dharma Productions romantic comedy film ‘Jug Jugg Jeeyo’ with Anil Kapoor, Neetu Singh.

She has also signed to play Dharma Productions action comedy film Mr. Lele directed by Shashank Khaitan and stare opposite Vicky Kaushal and Bhumi Pednekar.

In July, 2021, she was announced to play the leading role in an untitled film directed by S. Shankar co-starring with Tamil superstar Ram Charan. This film will get released in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi languages.

Kiara has also commited to act in Sajid Nadiawala’s epic musical saga, directed by Sameer Vidhwans stared with actor Kartik Aaryan. She has another next up project which is Ashutosh Gowariker’s next Karram Kurram. The story has based on the success of the Shri Mahila Griha Udyog Lijjat Papad.

In 2014, Kiara was voted one of the most desirable women of the year.

Kiara has nominated for several awards and won 2019 Zee Cine Awards Telugu and AsiaVision Awards as the Best Female Debut of Telugu film for ‘Bharat Ane Nenu’.

Kiara was also awarded the Zee Cine Award in 2020 after playing a tremendous role in the 'Kabir Singh' movie. 

In 2021,Kiara Advani won 5th Annual Talentrack Awards in the Best Female Actress category for 'Guilty'.

Sooryavanshi film coming soon in Digital media platform

 

Sooryavanshi is an upcoming Hindi action film directed by Rohit Shetty and produced by Reliance Entertainment, Rohit Shetty Picturez, Dharma Productions and Cape of Good Films. The film making budget was 135 corer rupees.

The film was coming as a part of Rohit Shetty’s cop universe that including Simmba and Singham.

It starred with Akshay kumar opposite Katrina Kaif in a lead role and Jackie Shroff, Gulshan Grover, Abhimanyu Singh, Niharica Raizada, Vivan Bhatena, Sikandar Kher, Nikitin Dheer and Javed Jaffrey played supporting roles. The film will also see Ranveer Singh and Ajay Devgn in special appearances.

The film was announced in December 2018 and filming had wrapped up on 30 November 2019 in Hyderabad. Then, the film’s initial theatrical released date was on 24 March 2020. But, due to Covid-19 situation in India cinema halls were shut down and the film forced to release postponed still now.

After that, director Rohith Shetty announced a grand theatrical release on April 30, 2021. But, the released date of film has been postponed again due to rising in COVID-19 cases and lockdown in Maharashtra.

In the uncertain pandemic situation, the Indian cinema exhibition industry estimated that, in 2020-21, the film industry had lost theatrical revenues of close to 120 billion rupees.

Sooryavanshi team also announced the film’s release schedule in over-the-top (OTT) platform. Netflix now owned by the online streaming rights of Sooryavanshi. The movie will release digitally on Netflix streaming platform after 15th August 2021.

Salman Khan’s Kick beats the domestic box office collection of Krrish 3

With the collection of Rs 225.1 crore at the domestic box office, Salman Khan’s movie, Kick, has beaten the lifetime collection of Hrithik Roshan’s Krrish 3. Salman Khan’s latest film has managed to earn Rs 366.72 crore worldwide. It is the first 200-crore film of Salman Khan.

Hrithik Roshan’s Krrish 3 earned Rs 224.69 crore at the domestic box office and became one of the biggest box office collectors in 2014. Prior to that Kick broke the box office record of Shah Rukh Khan’s Chennai Express.

Kick continues its good run at the box office even after the release of Entertainment. This action flick may face tough challenge to sustain at the box office after the release of Ajay Devgn's Singham Returns. 

Salman Khan’s Kick reaches 200 crore club

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has reached to a new height after the success of his latest movie, Kick. The movie has earned Rs. 200 crore at the Indian box office and has become Salman Khan’s highest grosser film in India. The movie has reached the Rs 200 figure by afternoon on Monday, August 4. By collecting Rs. 203.19 crore, it has broken the record of Aamir Khan’s 3 Idiots. The movie collected rs. 178.28 crore in the first week of its release.

Sajid Nadiadwala made his directorial debut with this film and got huge success in his first project. Other stars of this film are Jacqueline Fernandez, Randeep Hooda and Nawazuddin Siddiqui.

Aamir Khan’s Dhoom 3 has entered into Rs 500-crore club

Aamir Khan-starrer Dhoom 3 has become the first Hindi movie to set a new landmark of Rs 500 crore. This action thriller movie has collected Rs 501.35 crore ($83.56 million) worldwide. Production house, Yash Raj Films (YRF), has confirmed the news issuing an official statement. In the local market, it has collected Rs 351.29 crore while the overseas collection of this movie is Rs 150.06 crore ($25.01 million). The third installment of Dhoom series was released in almost 4000 theatres on 20 December.

Vijay Krishna Acharya directed Dhoom 3 has already broken all the previous box office records which were set by Shah Rukh Khan’s Chennai Express and Hrithik Roshan’s Krrish 3. Other actors of this movie are Katrina Kaif, Abhishek Bachchan, Uday Chopra and Jackie Shroff.

Why Salman Khan will not get Married?

Salman Khan has become 47 years old and there is hardly any possibility that he would get married in near future. That does not mean that he had any shortage of girlfriends. So, he does not need to get married. Most of his fans would find it almost impossible to remember the names of all his GFs.

However, it's not bad manners that's behind Salman's "ignoring" of "some" girlfriends. He clarified: "Now you're somewhere else, you have your own life. I don't want in someone else's mind that thought to come into that, you know, ex-boyfriend. I don't want anything of her past coming into their lives. So I stay miles away." What a gent.

 Not all ex-girlfriends are to be ignored, of course. "Sangeeta (Bijlani) is a friend. She's part of the family, she's always been," Salman said.

 He's also OK with the current boyfriends of ex-girlfriends. In fact, he "thanks" them - not for taking the girls out of his life, as Karan cruelly suggested, but for taking good care of them.

So, it seems that Salman Khan has no intention of getting married soon. He is not a bad person in real life. He helped many in Bollywood film industry. Even he has helped a lot of ordinary people. However, when it comes to marriage or having a romantic affair, he is always terrible.
