Lara Dutta and Mahesh Bhupathi sangeet ceremony will take place in Goa

Bollywood actress Lara Dutta got married to tennis player Mahesh Bhupathi. The couple registered there marriage in Mumbai on February 16, 2011 at the house of Mahesh Bhupathi. Lara and Mahesh will fly to Goa to attend sangeet ceremony that would take place on February 18, 2011.

Their Sangeet ceremony is going to take place at the famous Candolim beach club in Goa. For the ceremony, white color has been chosen and the entire club is decorated with white roses and jasmine.

Sunil Chawla, owner, Candolim Beach Club said, “The theme for entire sangeet is white, which matches with the theme of the club. There will be white roses, white jasmines..,”

On February 19, 2011, there will be the wedding reception. More than 200 guests will attend the ceremony. The guest list comprises of celebrities in sports and Bollywood including the Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan.

DJ Hussain will play songs at the sangeet ceremony. He will play both Bollywood and Hollywood songs.

In January 2011, Hrithik Roshan and Susanne Khan also celebrated their marriage anniversary at the Candolim beach club.

Ranbir Kapoor will not work with Deepika Padukone

In Hindi movies, the lovers unite at the end but that does not happen in real life not with Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone. Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone first worked in Bachna Ae Haseeno and the two fell in love but eventually their distance grew and they fell apart. What made Ranbir Kapoor very unhappy was Deepika Padukone’s sharp remarks about him in Koffee with Karan.

Ranbir has moved along and he is very happy with his new found love Katrina Kaif, whom he met at the sets of Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani.

When Ayan Mukherji, who directed Ranbir Kapoor in Wake UP Sid, approached him to work with Deepika Padukone, without any second thoughts Ranbir refused to work with Deepika.

Wake Up Sid was Ayan’s first movie. In Bollywood established actors do not want to work with new directors but Ranbir Kapoor was a different person. For this reason, Ayan is very thankful to Ranbir and wanted to rope him with in his next movie with his ex-girlfriend and Ranbir said “No.”

The female lead in Ayan’s next movie is very much similar to Imtiaz Ali’s Love Aaj Kal and for this reason he wanted Deepika but now Ayan will have to look for another actor for his movie.

Hrithik Roshan to host So You Think You Can Dance

Hrithik Roshan will be the new Bollywood celebrity to enter into the TV industry. It has been reported that the Bollywood superstar will be hosting a TV dance reality show. It is the Indian version of the “So You Think You Can Dance.”

Rumor is out that Roshan has been paid Rs. 20 million for hosting the show. Hrithik Roshan will dance with each of the finalists. He recently shot few promos and music video for the show.

“So You Think You Can Dance” is a reality show, where contestants dance in pairs for prize money. The Indian version will be modified a bit. Here the contestants will dance solo and they would come from all over the world. Auditions of the show will take place in New York and London.

The reality show will be broadcast on StarPlus. Ganesh Hegde has been signed up to become the judge of the show. News reports also said that Prabhudeva and Jaaved Jaffri have been approached for judging the show.

Auditions of the show will start from February 16, 2011 and the show will be broadcast in June.

Bauji is the head of the Patiala family living in Southhall and his decision is the final decision in the family. Gattu loves bauji very much and sacrifices his dream for his love. His cousins hate him for he does not stand up against bauji. The movie shows how Gattu realizes his dream and finally faces his Bauji.

The storyline is similar to that of Bend It Like Beckham. It is an inspirational movie and Akshay Kumar’s character is different. Akshay played the role of a cricketer and he worked very hard to portray the character properly. Anushka Sharma is Akshay Kumar’s love interest. She encourages him to pursue his dream. Rishi Kapoor also played his part very well.

From July 2010 till now this is the fourth movie of Akshay Kumar along with Khatta Meetha, Action Replayy, and Tees Maar Khan. For this reason, people might get tired of seeing too much Akshay Kumar. Moreover, the ICC World Cup Cricket 2011 is starting. Hence, there is not much hope for this movie. Still, Akshay Kumar did an exceptional role in the movie and if you are a diehard Akshay Kumar fan you should check it out.

Katrina Kaif back with Salman Khan: Not in real Life but in Movies!

Shah Rukh and Salman Khan Avoided Each Other at Imran Khan’s Wedding Receiption

Aamir Khan invited Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan at the wedding receiption of his nephew actor Imran Khan and his wife Avantika Malik. However, Shah Rukh and Salman decided not to come face-to-face with each other by attending the party at two different times.

Salman and his brother Sohail Khan came to the party at midnight and stayed around 30 minutes before making his way out through the back gate because SRK was supposed to arrive at 1pm. King khan finally arrived at 2.30 along with his wife Gauri Khan.

Shah Rukh Khan earlier publicly invited Slaman to meltdown their personal gap, but the Dabang actor did not show any interest in it. Reports also suggest that Aamir also tried to bring them closer by inviting them together and expected their presence at the same party would help to bridge the gap between themselves.
