Katrina Kaif and Akshay Kumar starrer ‘Tees Maar Khan’ gets good response in Box Office

Farah Khan is now happy for the success of her latest film, ‘Tees Maar Khan’ which brought both Katrina Kaif and Akshay Kumar together once again in the lead roles. On 24^th December 2010, ‘Tees Maar Khan’ made its release in almost all the theatres.

There is a big reason for Farah Khan to be happy for the success of her new released movie, ‘Tees Maar Khan’. This talented choreographer and director was tensed about the success of her film. She didn’t think that it would get good response from the audience around the world.

However, she didn’t have to be disappointed on the festive season of Christmas and New Year.

All the credit of ‘Tees Maar Khan’ box office collection should go to the pair Katrina Kaif and Akshay Kumar. However, Katrina Kaif’s item number ‘Sheila Ki Jawani’ registered a bumper response at the box office.

Most of the multiplexes across India were 100% houseful on the opening day. However, at some places, the occupancy was 90%, but it is as good as houseful. So, it is enough to understand that the film has earned huge amount of money.

On the first day of its release, the film collected Rs 14 crore. It was Akshay Kumar’s biggest opener of his entire career.

Fans will be watching to see if ‘Tees Maar Khan’ makes any new record.

Tees Maar Khan: Shahrukh takes his revenge on Farah

Only few years ago, Farah Khan and Shahrukh Khan shared a very good relationship. Their relationship was so good that Farah referred Shahrukh as her brother. However, that relationship turned sour when Shahrukh had a clash with Farah Khan’s husband Shirish Kunder over a movie script. After that Farah Khan took Akshay over Shahrukh Khan in her upcoming movie Tees Maar Khan which upset Shahrukh very much.

Shahrukh got the opportunity to express his anger at the recently held Mumbai Police Mela at Andheri. On December 19, 2010, the Mumbai police Mela took place where many renowned Bollywood stars appeared and performed. Farah Khan and his Tees Maar Khan crew also appeared at the show to promote movie. While Akshay Kumar, Katrina Kaif and Farah Khan came to promote the movie, suddenly Shahrukh Khan walked on the stage with his body guard and walked towards the audience. An eyewitness said:

"SRK and his bodyguards started walking towards the audience. Sab logon ka dhyaan SRK par chala gaya. And though they glanced at Farah, Akshay and Katrina, their attention was divided."

Recently, Shahrukh Khan Patch up with other renowned actors in Bollywood have been the headline of the media. Shahrukh amended relationship with Vishal Bhardwaj, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Sunil Gavaskar and Aishwarya Rai.

However, Shahrukh Khan, the king of Bollywood is not yet ready to maintain his relationship with Farah Khan. Shahrukh Khan and Farah already worked in two hit movies- Main Hoon Na and Om Shanti Om. It all stated when Farah Khan’s husband Shirish Kunder was working on a movie script which Shahrukh was supposed to act. Shahrukh didn’t like the script and told Shirish Kunder to change the script and this disagreement crated a crack between the relationship of Shahrukh Khan and Farah Khan. It looks like Shah Rukh Khan is still upset with Farah Khan and though he mended his relationship with other Bollywood celebrities, he will not mend his relationship with Farah Khan so soon.

'Tees Maar Khan’ director Farah Khan speaks highly of Akshay Kumar

Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar’s upcoming movie 'Tees Maar Khan’ will be released in theatres next week. Akshay Kumar is now busy promoting his movie. 'Tees Maar Khan’ is a 'con comedy' and this movie is an important work for Akshay Kumar because for the first time Akshay Kumar is working with Farah Khan.

In an interview with indiaglitz, Akshay Kumar shared his experience with the director. Farah Khan is a very talented director and choreographer. She has hit movies like 'Main Hoon Naa' and 'Om Shanti Om' to her credit. Though woman, Farah Khan is a very hard task master. She demands full attention for her actors on the set. Akshay enjoyed very much working with Farah Khan. Akshay said that both he and Farah shared the same mentality towards their work and profession.

He said, “We work well together because we come from the same school of ‘work hard, try harder’. We both dream of being the Invictus duo of Bollywood, the ‘Unconquerable Ones’. If you don’t have passion for work, then don’t come. You can see our passion literally oozes out of us and I believe that’s how it should be”.

One more time 'Tees Maar Khan’ will bring together the hit on screen pair Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif together. Along with Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif, Akshaye khanna and many other talented actors worked in the movie. Akshaye finished shooting of the movie within 60 days and Farah is very happy with his dedication and sense of professionalism. She speaks very highly of Akshay Kumar all the time. He says that he feels very flattered that Farah Khan speaks highly over because she is not the kind of person who compliments others for their work.

Though Akshay Kumar started as the action hero, he established himself as a comedy actor with hit movies like Welcome, Sing Is King. Let’s see if 'Tees Maar Khan’ re-establishes his image in Bollywood in the coming weeks.
