Year 2009 has been very good for Ranbir Kapoor. So far he has two successful movies this year. “Wake Up Sid” with Konkona Sen Sharma and “Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani” romantic comedy with Katrina Kaif. Now, his third movie Rocket Singh - Salesman Of The Year will be released on December 11, 2009. Rocket Singh is produced by Yash Raj Films one of the biggest production houses in Bollywood. Despite being Yash Raj product, Rocket Singh did not see much pre-release promotion. Yash Raj Films decided not to spend too much money on the promotion and let the audience decide the fate of the movie. Rocket Singh stars Ranbir Kapoor and Shazahn Padamsee. The movie tells the story of Harpreet Singh Bedi (Ranbir Kapoor) who just finishes his graduation and looking for job. Harpreet Singh has great dreams but he does not have a very good academic background. So, finding no alternative he starts his career as salesman and the movie shows how he struggled and finally tested success. With two successful movies Ranbir Kapoor is now under a big pressure with this movie. In addition, he is also having another tough time regarding his relationship with Deepika Padukone. News report came out that he broke out with Deepika Padukone and it also affected him mentally. Though Rocket Singh is a low profile movie and odds are stack against it.
