Bollywood films in Pakistan theatre this Eid

Eid is a big festival or Muslim holiday for Muselman people. Eid comes twice a year. One is Eid ul-Fitr (break fast) and another is Eid al-Adha (festival of sacrifice). However, all Islamic countries and its citizen are now celebrating Eid al-Adha. This holiday is also special for filmmakers. Ahead of this day, many film directors and producers plan to release their movie. Each country and its film industry try to release new films which are created by their own language. This year we can see different thing in Pakistan. Pakistani people could not see their own cinema. Their cinema theatres were dominated by English and Indian movies namely 'Jail', 'Tum Mile' and 'De Dana Dun'. It seems that bad time for Lollywood is coming. It happened for the first time in the history of the country. If it continuous then film industry in Pakistan will be destroyed. The demand of cinema is 40 to 50 but Lollywood is producing only 6 to 8. I can not understand that how they will tackle this situation.

Madhur Bhandarkar gets into the mind of the prisoner with Jail

Madhur Bhandarkar is a talented film maker but his films are not just mainstream paisa-vasool commerical movies, Madhur has made a name for himself as a serious movie maker. His movies try to show the reality of the society. In his latest outing as a director, he takes you inside the prison and the minds of the prisoners. Starring Neil Nitin Mukesh (Parag Dixit), Mugdha Godse (Maansi) and Manoj Bajpai (Nawaab), Jail tells the story how an innocent man ends up in a prison on false charges and then befriends with the inmates and gathers the courage to fight the system. From the promo and Madhur’s reputation as a serious film maker, it can be easily understood that Jail is a serious movie and that is why this movie did not get much viewer in the theatres.

However, that does not mean the movie is lacks merit. Jail is a very well executed movie from all side. Madhur Bhandarkar, Manoj Tyagi, Anuradha Tiwari came up with a very strong script and Raghuvir Shekawat’s dialogue breathed life into this movie.

After a long time, Manoj Bajpayee came on the big screen and the actor played his part superbly. Aarya Babbar played his part very well. Neil Nitin Mukesh delivered one of the best performances of his career. He really went under the skin of his character and portrayed his helplessness and suffering very well. Mugdha Godse had a non-glamorous look but she carried out her part well. If you are a big fan of hard hitting realistic movies, then this is the movie for you.

Ranbir Kapoor: Saawariya is a Special Movie

Saawariya launched the career of two persons: Ranbir Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor. No, they are not relatives. They just share the same surname. Anyway, Ranbir Kapoor is now a popular actor and he has a growing fanbase. Saawariya was a nice movie but did not do well in the box office. Both Ranbir and Sonam acted very well and received generous praise from the critics. However, when you are doing a commercial movie, box office matters. Still, Ranbir is happy that he did the movie.

"The film failed at the box office but it did not prevent me from doing new things. I felt like an underdog but the movie still holds a special place in my heart, it was a special film for me as it was my first film as an actor,"

"I received positive reviews for my performance and subsequently got good offers from Yash Chopra, Dharma Productions. Not only my family but the film industry also showed their support towards me. Even though the movie did not do well they said they liked my acting,"

This is his feeling about the movie.
