Will Vidya Balan tie the knot with UTV CEO Siddharth Roy Kapur

Rumor is out that Bollywood actress Vidya Balan has got engaged. So who is the lucky guy? He is none other than Siddharth Roy Kapur, the CEO of UTV Motion Pictures.

This is not the first time such rumor has come up. Earlier, the actress had been linked up Shahid Kapoor and Sanjay Dutt but none of them was true. But this time, it is very much real.

Siddharth and Vidya are very good friends and recently the two are seen in various social gatherings. A reliable source said,

"Vid and Sid are close. And in the past weeks they have been spotted spending quality time with each other on two occasions. The first time was when they reportedly stayed back after an awards night in Singapore and more recently when they were photographed in casual attire at a beach destination in India.''

Siddharth Roy Kapur has been married once and his divorce process is yet to complete.

Neither Siddharth no Vidya Balan said anything in public but the way things are going, we will be hearing an announce sooner or later.

Vidya Balan will carry Abhishek Bachchan's kid on her shoulders

Do not let the title startle you. Abhishek Bachchan and Vidya Balan are not having any extra-marital affairs. Few days ago, the two actors were attending a press conference on their upcoming movie ‘Paa.’ In that press conference, one of the journalists asked Abhishek if he would carry his own kids the way he carried Amitabh Bachchan on his shoulders in the movie. While Abhishek Bachchan was preparing to answer the question, Vidya suddenly pitched in for Abhishek Bachchan and replied that if Abhishek had not carried his own kids then she would carry them on her shoulders. Vidya’s reply took everyone by surprise.

In ‘Paa’, Vidya and Abhishek Bachchan acted as husband and wife. But the real hero of the movie is Auro, a thirteen year old kid played by Amitabh Bachchan. Auro has been suffering from a rare disease caused by genetic defect. Abhishek Bachchan played the role of Auro’s father, Amol Arte, an idealistic politician and Vidya Balan played the role of Auro’s mother who is a gynecologists. The movie ‘Paa’ is a rare movie. It tells the story of relationship between father and son. ‘Paa’ will release in theaters on December 4 2009.

Vidya Balan Envy with Shahid-Priyanka Relationship?

Shahid Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra are reportedly in a love relationship since they started shooting for their upcoming film Kaminey. Initially, it seemed to be a rumor, but the speculation got more grounds when Priyanka started living in the same building where Shahid also resides.

Now, it seems that Vidya Balan, another sought-after Bollywood beauty, could not accept the off-screen relationship between Shahid Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra. In fact, Vidya has recently bought an apartment near Shahid Kapoor’s residence and reports available in the media suggest that Vidya wants to keep an eye on Shahid Kapoor.

Shahid Kapoor and Vidya Balan were also romantically linked up during the shooting of their 2008 movie Kismat Konnection which did not do well in the box office. That time, both of them denied it and claimed they were just professional friend. Now, it seems that there was something else between Shahid Kapoor and Vidya Balan.

Kismat Konnection : Haroon Mirza works as a co-director with his father Aziz Mirza

Famous film director, Aziz Mirza last directed Shah Rukh Khan starrer Chalte Chalte in 2003. Now, after five years, he is back once again and this time, he is working with his son, Haroon Mirza, in Shahid Kapoor starrer Kismat Konnection. Kismat Konnection will arrive on Tips Banner in July.

Haroon Mirza started working with his father behind the camera. He assisted him in Yes Boss and Chalte Chalte. Haroon Mirza also wrote a script thinking about Shah Rukh Khan as the protagonist. Unfortunately, the movie did not see any light but Haroon Mirza got the opportunity to direct Shah Rukh Khan in Airtel and Hyundai Accent advertisement.

In Kismat Konnection Haroon Mirza is a co-director. This is a rare instance for any first time director has worked as a co-director along with established film maker.

Kismat Konnection is an NRI love story. Raj Malhotra is a top architecture student. In his college, he won the best student awards at a row for four years. After that things turn bad for him. He finds himself struggling in Canada. Finally, he finds his lucky charm Priya, a tough talking girl with a heart of gold.

After few months, Neeraj Pathak, script writer of APNE will direct his first movie with Sunny Deol. Pathak will work as a co-director with Sunny Deol who already directed a movie Dillagi.

Vidya Balan and Akshay Kumar SMS Controversy

Vidya Balan was going to fell in a trap during the shooting of ‘Heyy Babyy’. Akshay Kumar found Vidya Balan’s mobile lying down while she was shooting for a scene. Akshay took the opportunity and sent a bad message to the choreographer of Vidya Balan. The astonished choreographer also sent a message back to Vidya’s mobile. Then Vidya Balan checked the sent message option of her mobile and got the message.

The Times of India reported:
While shooting for Bhool Bhulaiya, Vidya’s phone was simply lying around, and Akki dearest saw the opportunity and sent a nasty SMS to the choreographer from her mobile. All hell broke loose when the puzzled choreographer messaged back, and Vidya read the message.
After reacting to it rather loudly, Balan checked her sent messages folder, and Akshay’s snickering gave him up. The well-mannered VB then apologized profusely to her choreographer. And all was well that ended well.

So, at the end there was not any more problem and everything ended completely. Vidya Balan has fame for keeping his composure and well behavior. She proved it once again. Akshay Kumar is a superstar in Bollywood. He will also understand that a simple fun can create huge problem.

John Abraham and Vidya Balan in New Movie

Vikram Motwane is a new director. It is not that he is totally new in Bollywood but he is making his debut as a director soon. For his first movie, he has selected John Abraham and Vidya Balan as the leading performers. This is a good screen couple and they are have done well in Salam-E-Ishq.

Vidya Balan Trying to Get the Taste of Differnt Characters with Differnt Dress up

Vidya Balan has recently revealed that she is interested to act in different types roles in differnt movies and is not interested to be sticked with a character with a particular costume. It has been seen that from the beggining of her career she has been acting different cahracter in different movies. In her first Bollywood movie Parineeta, she was appeared with traditional Sari as her role was of a nineteenth century congervativ Indian girls. She could successfully play the role and for playing the role she was awarded the FIlmfare Best Dedbut Award. In her second movie, Lage Raho Munna Bhai, she is seen as a Radio Jockey and recently in Guru, she is seen as an interesting girl whose life is rounded in awheelchair. Now her upcoming Bollywood movie Salaam E Ishq has already come into focus with its unconventional story and Vidya is expected to be seen in another new role against Jhon Abrahm.

I don't want to stay in a comfort zone. After Parineeta people wanted to slot me in sari clad roles. But fortunately my role in Lage Raho... gave me a chance to be different. In Salaam-E-Ishq , I dress up completely differently from the way I do in real life. That doesn't mean that I don't enjoy dressing up traditionally. Now I'm getting to do an elaborate costume in Priyadarshan's Chandramukhi and I'm very excited about it.

She even also said that she will not mind playing in a working class role if she is offered to do so. She said:

I've no problems playing a working-class girl. In fact in Raj Kumar Santoshi's Halla Bol I'm again in a working class atmosphere and clothes.

It seems that this one of most promising newcomer of Bollywood is going like a professional actress which is a positive sign for her career. However, I think as she does not lack of quality and talent as an actress, she does not need to survive through on screen kissing which she did in Guru with her fellow actor Madhaban. Vidya Balan's acting skill is enough to make her an established actress in the industry.

"GURU" makes a GREAT START!!!

Abhishek and Aishwarya’s latest movie, Guru, has been released across India on 12^th January. On its first day, the movie made a huge splash among viewers. People appreciated the movie very much. The main reason behind Guru’s success is Abhishek Bachchan’s outstanding performance. India Glitz, the popular Indian movie website, conducted a survey on the viewers who watched the film for the first time. I am quoting from the report:

Abhishek Bachchan’s performance in ‘Guru’ shall always be referred to as a performance that jolts you. And the Mumbai public agrees with this viewpoint. Although the advance booking in Mumbai has been lowest (10 – 30%) as compared to Chennai (House full for the first two days) and Delhi (50 – 60% advance booking), but when Indiaglitz conducted an exclusive video of ‘Guru’ public opinion after the first day first show yesterday, the overwhelming majority was of the opinion that ‘Guru’ is a landmark film. The dazed expression on their faces said it all.

The story of Guru is based on the life of Dhirubhai Ambani, the founder of Reliance Group. The movie depicts the life of Gurukant, a villager, who becomes a successful businessman. Abhishek is doing the lead character “Guru”. On the first day, there were not as many viewers as expected but the people who came enjoyed the movie very much. According to the India Glitz report, Mani Rathnam can be referred as the “Master of movie making”. Aishwarya and Abhishek’s pair up was liked by the audience but Aishwarya’s was not very much highlighted in the movie. Viday Balan’s performance was also very much appreciated.

Guru can be considered a milestone is Abhishek’s career. He worked very hard for it. Some movie lovers were so impressed that they said that Bachchan junior has outshone his father. Another report published in Apun ka Choice.com, said Amitabh Bachchan, the megastar himself, admitted that Abhishek has defeated him in acting and he would watch the film hundred times.

A.R. Rahman’s music has always been a plus point for his films and Guru is no exception. The tracks were liked by the audience.

Vidya to Balan be Seen Thrice on Big Screen within Two Months

Vidya Balan will be the much talked actress in Bolywood as three of her five movies expected to be released this year, will be released within the coming two months. First, the movie Guru will be released in Jan 12^th, then Nikhil Advani’s Saalam-E-Ishq on Jan 25^th and her second movie. Her third movie of this year will be Eklavya where she will again be seen with the hero of her first success story Saif Ali Khan. Moreover, the movie will also be directed and produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra who was the producer of her first two movies- Parineeta and Lage Raho Munna Bhai. In Eklavya, Sharmila Tagore, Amitabh Bachchan, Sanjay Dutt will play some of the important role of the movie.

But this won't be all as come February 16th and she would have an important part to play in Vidhu Vinod Chopra's return-to-direction film EKLAVYA-THE ROYAL GUARD.

Vidya Balan to Appear in Many Bollywood Movies in 2007

Vidya Balan, the star of Pareenita, will be one of the most busy actress in 2007 as they year she will be appeared in at least five Bollywod movies. This rising star of Bollywood will be first seen in the movie Guru directed by Moni Ratnam, famous South Indian director. She will play the role of a handicapped woman who is the wife of a journalist (played by Madhavan). Then she will be seen in the multi-starrer Saalam-E-Ishq directed by Nikhil Advani. In the movie she will be seen in a romantic character against John Abraham. Another Vidya Baan movie will be Eklavya, based on a historic plot where she will play the role of the lover of prince (played by her Parineeta actor Saif Ali Khan).

This bollywood beauty will also come to screen with Halla Bol , Hey Baby and ‘Chandramukhi’ at the end of this year. She has appeared in two Bollywood movies yet and both the movies could generate a huge hit and was very successful. For playing the Lolita character in hr first Bollywood movie, she was given the Filmfare Best Debut award. Her second Bollywood movie Lage Raho Munna Bhai was also one of the most successful movies of 2006.

Now, you have to wait to see whether her following movies will continue generating significant hit as the previous movies did.

Leaving out Vidya Balan from Premiere of Guru?

2007 promises to be a great year for Vidya Balan. In this year, she can emerge as one of the very top actresses in Bollywood. She is beautiful and she has an innocent expression in her face which attracts a lot of fans. At the same time, this can make some actresses jealous and insecure too. Well, it is shocking that Aishwarya Rai is feeling threatened from Vidya Balan. ApunKaChoice wrote:

Mallika is famous for her candid remarks about Aishwarya Rai in the past but Vidya Balan is a gentle girl. Leaving out of her from the Toronto premiere is a pathetic thing done by Aishwarya Rai. Aishwarya Rai should be ashamed of herself.
