Rani Mukherjee Lost Weight for Tara Rum Pum

The IHT report is not very clear. At least, I did not understand if Rani Mukherjee had to lose weight for Tara Rum Pum or another movie. Most probably it was for Tara Rum Pum.

Bollywood actress Rani Mukherjee put herself through grinding workouts so she could slip into a miniskirt for a new movie, a newspaper reported Thursday.

"If I had put on those short skirts looking the way I did earlier, I'd have looked pretty stupid," Mukherjee told the Mumbai Mirror newspaper in an interview published Thursday. "I knew I had to get seriously slim."

Mukherjee said she gave her gym instructor a hard time because she was focused on losing weight for a role that takes her from a college student to a mother of two.

I am happy that Rani Mukherjee could lose weight in such a good way. Well, she is a professional and serious Bollywood actress. She is dedicated to her acitng.

I am sure that it is a challenging role for Rani Mukherjee and I am waiting to see how she performs. 'Tara Rum Pum' is a different kind of Bollywood Movie and if it becomes successful then it can start a new trend in Bollywood.

This is a nice movie for Rani Mukherjee. I am sure that she would not disappoint her fans in 'Tara Rum Pum'. She is beautiful and a very skilled actress.

Javed Jaffrey is a good actor but he is even a better dancer. He is mainly famous for his great dancing in TV. He is acting in the upcoming Bollywood movie Ta Ra Rum Pum. Here, he is dancing too.

Can Ta Ra Rum Pum Salvage Bollywood’s Box Office?

Bollywood is suffering a severe crisis in 2007. 2006 was a record breaking year for Bollywood’s box office. In 2007, nothing is clicking for Bollywood. I think only Guru had some decent success. Except Guru, Bollywood just witnessed flop after flop movies.

Ta Ra Rum Pum has Saif Ali Khan and Rani Mukerji both of which have the record to shine in the box office. On the other hand, Siddharth Anand has history of making a big hit movie Salaam Namaste. So, we will have to wait just a few days to see if Ta Ra Rum Pum can ignite the passion of Indian audience.

Ta Ra Rum Pum to Entertain You

Ta Ra Rum Pum is the new movie. It is going to be released on 27 April. It is very good for the Ta Ra Rum Pum movie as that time World Cup Cricket will finish. Anyway, India is not in the World Cup and people do not care much for Cricket now a days. They care more for Bollywood movies and Ta Ra Rum Pum is coming at the right time. IT is a romantic movie and Saif and Rani are acting.

"Ta Ra Rum Pum", directed by young Indian director Siddharth Anand and produced by Yash Raj Films, a leading filmmaking and distribution company, is set for release on April 27.

The film has two of Bollywood's biggest stars Saif Ali Khan and Rani Mukherjee playing the lead roles.

"The film is about a top car racer in the U.S. and his family which goes through the extreme high and low which all families go through," Anand, 29, told Reuters.
