Harry Shearer released his new album Greed and Fear

Harry Shearer, the famous comedy actor, is also a famous singer. His latest music CD titled Greed and Fear talks about evil practices of American Banks. The 66 year old actor even won two Grammy Nominations for his previous two albums9 Songs of the Bushmen and Songs Pointed and Pointless.

A multi-faceted genius, Harry Shearer is an actor, comedian, writer, voice artist, musician, author and radio host. He is known for his long running role on the Simpsons. He also appeared in Saturday Night Live, “Spinal Tap” a comedy band. He also did some popular radio programs such as Le Show.

Born in Los Angeles, California, Harry Shearer started as a child actor. In 1953, he debuted as a child actor in Abbott and Costello Go to Mars. In 1957, Shearer played the precursor to the Eddie Haskell character in the pilot episode for the TV series Leave It to Beaver. From 1969 to 1976, Shearer remained a member of The Credibility Gap, a radio comedy group.

Mallika Sherawat will play a Barack Obama supporter in Politics of Love

Mallika Sherawat might not have done too many movies but in Bollywood very few could create sensation the way she did. With her sexy image, Mallika Sherawat curved her own niche in Bollywood. She is not afraid to reveal her body in front of the camera. Recently, Mallika Sherawat Twitted all her fans wishing them a Happy Holi this year. She said:

Mallika Sherawat in her twitter account tweeted – ” wishin all ma tweeps av colorful holi:)”.

News is out that Mallika Sherawat is going to do another Hollywood movie. The news was first reported by popular Hollywood web-portal, Variety. This will be the third international project of Mallika Sherawat. In 2005, she appeared in The Myth with Jackie Chan. In 2009, she did Hissss which had been co-produced by India and America.

Mallika will be paired up with Brian White in a romantic comedy titled Politics of Love. The movie is based on a real life love story that blossomed during the Presidential campaign of 2008. In the movie White will play the role of a black volunteer coordinator working for the local John McCain office who falls in love with an Indian supporter of Barack Obama played by Mallika Sherawat. Other actors include Ruby Dee, Gerry Bednob and Loretta Devine. William Dear of the Perfect Game fame will be directing the movie and Gary Goldstein would write the screen play.

Day of Swami Nityananda, Ragasudha and Ranjitha

Today, I was literally shocked to see that these 3 characters totally dominating Google trends India. It was Sun TV that came broadcast a video of Nithyananda scandal with an actress. The face of the actress was not clear in the video tape but it is thought that the actress is either Ragasudha or Ranjitha. After the broadcast of this video in the Sun TV channel, thousands of people started to search in Google and today, from morning, these 3 characters are totally dominating the Google Trends in India.

To be honest, I feel sympathy for the two actresses Ragasudha and Ranjitha. First of all, there was just one female in the video. Even it is not sure that who the girl. It is possible that it was neither Ragasudha nor Ranjitha. Even if suppose, one of these two actresses were that girl in the video. Still, the other actress has nothing to do. Unfortunately, people have no idea about this and many people are looking for hot pictures and videos of Ragasudha and Ranjitha.

Swami Nityananda is a famous in Tamil Nadu. I hope that proper investigation is carried out and if he is found guilty then proper punishment is given. Some of the followers of Swami Nityananda are very angry and they are protesting in the street.

Shah Rukh Khan’s "My Name Is Khan" has become the highest ever grossing film in North America

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s new movie "My Name Is Khan" failed to do good business in India and its ticket sale fall in the second week after its release. But it made a record in USA. "My Name Is Khan" has become the highest grossing film in North America. It has earned $3,635,000 after 17 days of release and broke SRK’s old record of $3,597,372. In 2007, SRK starrer “Om Shanti Om”, which was shown in 119 theatres across the US and Canada, earned this amount of money. “OSO” was played three weeks in different theatres.

“My Name Is Khan” was Karan Johar’s most successful directorial film. His last directorial movie "Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna" earned $3,275,444 in 2006.

“My Name Is Khan” earned $761,000 in one day and it has become the highest one-day gross ever film in North America. Now, let us come to see who will break this record.

Aamir Khan starring “3 Idiots” got best film award

Hindi movie fans enjoyed a star studded 55^th Filmfare awards on Saturday night. Many Hindi movies and its stars were awarded in different categories. Top Bollywood actor Aamir Khan starring '3 Idiots' was one of the most successful movies. It made a big surprise in the award ceremony after taking six trophies including best film. I was optimistic about the success of this film because it hit the box office in 2009 and it was the last successful movie in the last year. Rajkumar Hirani, who directed this film, won four awards. He won the best director award. He also won the best story trophy along with Abhijat Joshi. Not only that but also he won best screenplay award with Vidhu Vinod Chopra. This talented person also won best dialogue award for this film.

The main attraction of this film was Amitabh Bachchan. This legend actor won the best actor award. His film Paa won two awards. The actress of this film Vidya Balan got best actress award. However, despite winnings a prestigious award, Bachchans family boycotted the award ceremony because of the false news reported about Aishwarya Rai's health in Mumbai Mirror. The Bachchans have sent a legal notice to the editor of this newspaper and asked him to say apologize in publicly. It is also thought that Amitabh Bachchan may refuse the award later.

The Bachchans would not attend the 55th Filmfare award show

The Bachchans are very angry over false news published by Mumbai Mirror saying that Aishwarya Rai is suffering from stomach tuberculosis and that is why she can not conceive. After this news came out, the Bachchan family became very angry. The Mumbai Mirror and Filmfare, which are owned by Times Group, published this news. Teen Patti review: Just another over hyped movie

Amitabh Bachchan and Ben Kingsley starrer Teen Patti has come to the theatres but expect no ordinary people to go and enjoy the movie because he would not understand what the movie is about. The biggest weakness of the movie is that the subject of the movie caters to the test of the educated people. Amitabh Bachchan played an unsuccessful math professor, Venkat Subaramanium, whose superiors claim that his research findings have no real world application.

However, his theory of probability could predict the winner in a card game and bring in lots of money. Venkat was then persuaded by his colleague, Prof. Shantanu Biswas, to use the theory. The two professors and a bunch of students then start hanging out at the various underground gambling dens of Mumbai. What starts as an experiment turns into matter of greed and deception which ends when one of the students commit suicide.

Though Sir Ben Kingsley got lots of media coverage while talking about the movie. In reality, his role is very short. He is just a listener. Script of the movie is another weakness. Sometimes the characters say these dialogues but it does not make any sense. Director Leena Yadav tried to reveal the dark side of gambling and tried to create an environment surrounded by rich and greedy people which did not look very convincing. In 21, the movie from which Teen Patti’s story has been taken, shows an evil professor using his students. Here, the two professors, target students with troubled pasts.

Both Ben Kingsley and Amitabh Bachchan played their role very well. Madhavan was fine with his role. Among the four new characters, Dhruv Ganesh got lots of exposure but others did not have much presence in the movie.
