Bollywood Film Victory Premiered in Colombo

Latest Bollywood film Victory has had its global premier held at Colombo's Regal Theater recently. The movie is based on a cricket related story that portrays a young boy named Vijay Shekhawat who comes from a typical village in Rajasthan and later on plays for Indian cricket team as his father wishes. The movie was shot in several locations in India, Sri Lanka, Australia and Pakistan. Victory casts the Bollywood stars like Herman Baweja, Amrita Rao and Gulshan Grover. However, the most attractive thing is that the movie features the real life cricket stars like Brett Lee, Harbhajan Singh, Atul Wassan, Dinesh Kartik, Mike Hussey, Shoaib Malik, Sanath Jayasuriya and Muttiah Muralitharan. Directed by Ajitpal Mangat, the movie is expected to get released very soon. Director Ajitpal Mangat said that he always wanted to make a movie on Cricket, and now that he has finally made a film based on cricket, it is yet to see how Bollywood fans accept the movie.

Bollywood in 2009: What to Expect?

To be honest with you, I do not expect a lot from Bollywood in 2009. 2008 was a disaster as year and I don’t expect that anything significant will happen in this year too. You may call me pessimistic and even the city with me and I will come you for this matter. But however, let me tell you my reason of being so much pessimistic. But frankly, I do not see any change taking place among Bollywood directors and producers and actors and actresses. But I also cannot find any change in the way Bollywood movies are made. But I do not see any new face that can ensure a big hits in the box office. You might talk about that Katrina Kaif but I do not see any big potential in her. All the but the ding actors of Bollywood are getting old and the presence of Shahrukh Khan does not ensure but he its success in the box office anymore.

Another matter, that is, 2009 is going to be a year of cricket. You know that Indian people are crazy for two things only Cricket and Bollywood. For example, tomorrow, Australia vs South Africa 3rd Test and although India is not taking part in this match, you can expect that many people will logon to their television to enjoy the match.

Salmaan Khan: The most attractive bachelor in Bollywood?

Salmaan Khan is now becoming 43 tomorrow. He is still going very well and he is still consider to be one of the top actors of Bollywood. He is going great in the box office but he is still considered to be a good actor. Salmaan Khan even at the age of 43 is not married. It is not that he doesn’t like girl. In fact, he is famous for his relationship with many girls in the past. These days, people think that Katrina Kaif is his girl friend and there is possibility that they will get married.

I am not so sure because is doing very well in Bollywood and the last thing she would want to do is to get married and lose her career. So, for the Salmaan Khan fans, most probably 2009 will be the same unhappy time for them. Many of the fans of Salmaan Khan want their hero to get married as soon as possible but it seems that Salmaan Khan is waiting for the right woman to meet. I am sure Katrina Kaif is not the right girl for him because Katrina Kaif does not care for having marriage, having children and having a relaxed married life. Katrina Kaif’s main attention now is to become top actress in Bollywood. In 2008 she had lot of success and she is hoping the 2009 will be the better year for her. So, it seems that Salmaan Khan is indeed the most attractive bachelor in Bollywood. He has everything. He is handsome and he is also very famous. He is also very rich.

2009: The beginning of a good year for Bollywood?

2008 was nothing better than a disaster year for Bollywood. I can not remember the names of even five movies that earned a lot of money in the box office. Most of the movies peformed very badly and it brought only frustration for more and more people and they felt that may be the good time of Bollywood was over. In India, people are obsessed with two things that cricket and Bollywood.

Yes, you are right India is playing very well in cricket these days. India has defeated Australia and England in the last two months at home. So, naturally many people are excited about it but at the same time, Indians can never be away from Bollywood for a long time. So, there is a lot of hope that 2009 will be a bright year for the film industry. There is some reason for this kind of optimism. The main reason is that after Diwali some of the movies are getting decent amount of money. Now, it is the time of recession and you can think that the movies will get less money as most people are reluctant to spend more. However, look at the success of Aamir Khan’s latest movie Ghajini. It has got a very impressive first day income. And many people are now hoping that this will be the beginning a very good year in 2009.

Aishwarya Rai and Time Management

Aishwarya Rai is one of the top actresses in Bollywood and she is certainly a very busy person. She got married one year ago and after that she has become even busier. He’s all the time up to something and now she has to look after the couple lives and give a lot of time to her husband’s family. This is surely a big challenge for any person and we are surely eager to know how Aishwarya Rai can manage so many things everyday. But it seems that she tries to be good at time management and good time management is the secret of her success.

One India wrote:

Learning how to manage time and taking up only those assignments wherein you can deliver your best are the 'mantras' that actress Aishwarya Rai follows in her life.

'I have learnt that if we take more work than we can chew, it will lead to utter chaos. Juggling work and personal life adds up to a very hectic schedule, but you've got to take it as it comes,' said the actress who took time out from her shoot in Kerala to launch the new collection, 'Admiral', of luxury watch brand Longines here today.

This is something we can learn from heart and it will have all of us. In our daily life, we have to face this kind of challenge and often, we get frustrated and we lose our mental balance.
