Aishwarya Rai appeared in a traditional Indian outlook at the 63 annual Cannes Film Festival

Bollywood beauty, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, appeared in a traditional Indian outfit during the premier of 'Outrage' at the 63 annual Cannes Film Festival. Her Indian look fascinated everyone while she walked the red carpet with her husband Abhishek Bachchan.

Aishwarya Rai was also accompanied by her mother Vrinda Rai and team of 'Raavan' that will be premiered in the most prestigious and world's oldest film festival.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who is the brand face of cosmetic giant L'Oreal, was usually seen in western outfits due to the rules. As per rules, she must wear western outfit which will be designed by Elie Saab.

This time, she showed her Indian side at the sixth day of Cannes Film Festival wearing a sari designed by Sabyasachi Mukherjee. It is thought that her Indian look could decrease the criticism that was created for her western look. Last she was seen in a sari at Cannes Film Festival first at the premiere of 'Devdas' on 23rd May 2002.

In 2003, when her green sari and chappals at the 'Dogville' premiere were criticized even bye the unfashionable, the brand, L'Oreal made sure that she wears designers outfits.

There we can see a race between Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Deepika Padukone as the young actress preferred Indian wear. Deepika Padukone said that she likes to represent India in this event. She also said that she finds sari very Indian and sensuous.
