Parmeet Sethi made his directorial debut with Badmaash Company

An upcoming Hindi film, Badmaash Company, has created a big buzz in the media before its release in the silver screen. This much awaited film is set to release worldwide on May 7, 2010. Parmeet Sethi, who started his acting career with “Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge” has made his directorial debut with Badmaash Company for the same production house, YashRaj Films.

The story of this films tells about a group consists of four friends leading by Shahid Kapur takes up to make quick money. Director says that this film has no similarity with “Dhoom” and “Bunty Aur Babli”. “Dhoom” was the mixture of action and con job while “Bunty Aur Babli” was about small time con artistes. But his film is totally different on the basis of con jobs that are believed and well-researched.

Parmeet Sethi’s ‘Badmaash Company’ was born after producer, Aditya Chopra, asked him if he wanted to make a funny film. Parmeet Sethi first chose Shahid Kapur and luckily he agreed to act in this film as he liked the scrip. To act in this film, he pushed back his dad’s film to accommodate mine.

Badmaash Company was shot in several cities in India and New York and Philadelphia. This film is full of excitement. Let’s see if Parmeet Sethi can get success as director.
