Shah Rukh Khan’s "My Name Is Khan" has become the highest ever grossing film in North America

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s new movie "My Name Is Khan" failed to do good business in India and its ticket sale fall in the second week after its release. But it made a record in USA. "My Name Is Khan" has become the highest grossing film in North America. It has earned $3,635,000 after 17 days of release and broke SRK’s old record of $3,597,372. In 2007, SRK starrer “Om Shanti Om”, which was shown in 119 theatres across the US and Canada, earned this amount of money. “OSO” was played three weeks in different theatres.

“My Name Is Khan” was Karan Johar’s most successful directorial film. His last directorial movie "Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna" earned $3,275,444 in 2006.

“My Name Is Khan” earned $761,000 in one day and it has become the highest one-day gross ever film in North America. Now, let us come to see who will break this record.
