Aamir Khan, Sharman Joshi and Madhavan’s 3 Idiots’ first look unveiled

On November 5, 2009, Aamir Khan, Madhavan and Sharman Joshi unveiled the first look of their upcoming movie, 3 Idiots. The event took place at a hotel in Mumbai. 3 Idiots is the movie adaptation of Chetan Bhagat's best selling fiction, Five Point Someone. The movie tells the story of three students in IIT who have poor GPAs and their failure brings them closer.''Don't be stupid, be an idiot.'' This is the tag line of 3 Idiots. While talking to the press, Aamir Khan differentiated between ‘Idiot’ and ‘Stupid.’ He said:

"Idiots are thought to be very normal persons but at some point of time they prove themselves to be someone with extra calibre. They are not stupid, rather they come to limelight in an unconventional way. .. There are many people like this in history. When we see them initially, we feel amused, but later on we realize that they are doing the right thing. So, the tag line of the film is ''Don''t be stupid, be an idiot''.

This is not the first time, Aamir Khan played the role of a college student in the movie. In 2001, he tested success with Dil Chahta Hai, where he played a college student named Akash. Then he played DJ in Raang De Basanti. Let’s see whether the audience likes him as an Idiot student this time.
