A bollywood film festival titled “Experience the Real Taste of India” has been started on Monday in Poland. During the week-long festival, popular bollywood movies including seven new movies will be shown in 12 cities including the big towns like Warsaw, Poznan, Wroclaw and Gdansk as well as the small towns like Koszlin, Lodz, Szezecin and Bydogosz across Poland. Some of the films which will be shown during the festival are Aamir Khan’s directorial debut Taare Zameen Par, Dostana, directed by Tarun Mansukhani, John Jeffcoat's Outsourced, Atul Agnihori’s Hello, and Tashan, directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya. Organized by the Indo-Polish Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IPCCI) and Epelpol Entertainment, the film festival wants to give the Polish people a taste of contemporary Bollywood movies.

Poland seems to be the next big foreign market for Bollywood movie. Shah Rukh Khan has already become very popular in the country as Shah Rukh-starrer box office hits like Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, Kal Ho Na Ho, Kabhi Alwida Na Kahna, Main Hoon Na, Dil Se have been screened in Poland over the last four years. This time Polish people could watch Aamir Khan on the big screen. It is yet to see if Aamir Khan could also earn a starry image in Poland.
