The Guests to Be Invited to the Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan Marriage

There is news that the upcoming Abhishek-Aishwarya marriage ceremony would only include some of the close relatives of Bachchan and Rai family. It is true that the marriage of such kind is expected to be a grand ceremony but as a family tradition Bachchan’s are used to keep everything out of the media attention. However, it is also said that Amitabh Bachchan’s mother Teji Bachchan’s illness is the reason of having a small party.

The marriage ceremony will continue for three days. Sangeet will be held on 18th of April and the marriage ceremony will be taken place on 20th April. Times of India reported:

With the much-awaited Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai wedding set to take place in less than a week's time on April 20, at Prateeksha in Mumbai, the wedding cards were finally sent out to the select guest list comprising the inner coterie of the Bachchans and the Rais (namely Amar Singh, Anil and Tina Ambani, Subroto and Swapna Roy, Hiroo and Karan Johar, Anupam, Kirron and Sikandar Kher, Sanjay Dutt amongst others) a couple of days ago.

The card is in the form of a gold and beige book. The leaves of the book unfold into an invite to the sangeet on April 18, and the wedding on April 20, with an introduction invoking celestial blessing for the couple in Sanskrit shlokas, a poem by Abhishek's grandfather, the late Harivansh Rai Bachchan, on new beginnings and marriage along with two As intertwined on the cover of the wedding book.

The card is accompanied by a box of chocolate meringues. The card includes Amar Singh and his family as a part of the Bachchan family.

I think the marriage has already created much media attraction and it is true that this is one of the most famous movies of Bollywood. It is true that there are still about 7 days to go to the marriage ceremony. So, it is possible to increase the number of guests at the end of the preparations.
