American Idol: Haley Scarnato’s Leg vs Sanjaya Malakar’s Hair

Sanjaya Malakar and Haley Scarnato: What thing is common between them? They are among the 12 finalists in American Idol. There is another important similarity too. Both of them have become more famous for their body parts than their vocal. Sanjaya Malakar’s hair has its fans and haters. Some fans have made their hair similar to Sanjaya Malakar. While, some did not appreciate it at all.

On the other hand, Haley Scarnato has some nice legs and she was eager to show off her legs to the judges and the fans. One judge surely did not like it and so too the millions of fans. So, showing her long legs was the last thing that Haley Scarnato could do in American Idol. She was voted off the show this week.

Haley Scarnato is very unhappy with this matter and she still could not understand why people did not like her legs.

Reality TV World wrote:

"I didn't think it was going to be that distracting. It's just shorts," said Scarnato during a conference call with reporters on Thursday afternoon. "It hurts of course... It's just legs. It is what it is. It's legs. I mean I don't even know what to say about it. It's frustrating because I'm just trying to go out there and perform and sing -- and it is a singing competition -- and they weren't listening to me anymore."

………………………………………..

"I thought about the shorts just because it was a more upbeat kind of song and it would be comfortable to wear," said Scarnato, explaining why she decided to bear her legs for the performance. "And [Idol stylist Art Kahn] just kind of finished the style. We just molded it together... you get so much feedback from everybody and they're kind of like, 'Keep it.'"

Following her rendition of the song, Idol judge Simon Cowell called Scarnato a "naughty little thing" and added he though "people are going to be talking about a lot more than your singing tonight."

In the battle between Haley Scarnato’s Leg vs Sanjaya Malakar’s Hair, Sanjaya has won clearly. This is perhaps the first time in the history of world that a man’s hair could outshine the bare legs of a woman.
