Aishwarya Rai & Abhishek Bachchan: Tirumala temple in Tirupati

Aishwarya Rai & Abhishek Bachchan are now Mr. and Mrs. Bachchan. The wedding ceremony has finished. It was a happy but tough time for them as they had to perform the ceremonies. Now, they are in better condition and they visited Tirumala temple in Tirupati.

The Star reported:

Television channels were flooded with images of the couple, both sets of parents and several close friends and relatives entering the famous Tirumala temple in Tirupati, in southern Andhra Pradesh state.

Rai, 33, was dressed in a red and gold traditional silk sari and wore a "mangalsutra,'' a necklace of black and gold beads, and "sindoor,'' or red vermillion powder in the parting of her hair. Both are considered auspicious for Hindu married women.

Her new husband, 31-year-old Bachchan, wore a white "kurta-pajama,'' a loose tunic with baggy pants.

Aishwarya Rai & Abhishek Bachchan to seek divine blessing and at the same time it was a good PR publicity for them. Many journalists are very unhappy with the way Aishwarya Rai & Abhishek Bachchan have handled the media during the ceremony. Now, they can pacify them with giving a lot of images and something to write about.
