Pakistan 52/5 after 17 overs

Pakistan top order batsmen also failed to impress following their West Indies couinterparts as Pakistan has already lost three wickets after 10 overs. At this moment, Inzamam-ul-Haq and Mohammad Yousuf are on the crease and a lot will depend on this two talented batsmen.

After 17 overs, Pakistan is now 52 for 3. The two new ball’s bowlers Daren Powell and Jerome Taylor have done their job very well taking three early wickets putting a lot of pressure on the Pakistani batsmen. From the very beginning, they could bowl maintaining a good line and length. Powel first hit taking Imran Nazir’s wicket while this opening batsman was on 6. Then Taylor made Younis Khan out while he was on 9. Then Powel took the seemingly good opening batsman Mohammad Hafiz’s wicket. Hafiz scored 11 runs off 28 balls. Now, it is on the ongoing partnership between Inzamam-ul-Haq and Mohammad Yousuf.
