Jamaica: A Great Start for World Cup


No, Jamaica is not playing separately as a country in World Cup but it is hosting some important matches and it has seen a great start with the warm up matches.

Radio Jamaica wrote:

Senator Delano Franklyn is expressing confidence that Jamaica will continue along this path.

Speaking with reporters Monday afternoon, Mr. Franklyn said over 3,000 persons will be accredited to perform various duties to ensure the smooth flow of the competition.

He expressed confidence that the country will not disappoint the many fans and cricketers in the island for the tournament.
