The First 50 Partnership of the World Cup Cricket 2007

The first match of the World Cup Cricket 2007 is now going on at the Sabina Park stadium of Jamaica. It was the second wicket partnership between Shivnarine Chanderpaul and Ramnaresh Sarwan. They could score 57 runs in their partnership but run rate per over was too slow at that moment as this partnership took 102 balls. The partnership broke with Shivnarine Chanderpaul’s getting out at the 17th over. West Indies lost their first wicket in the second ball of the third over when their innings total was 7 as Chris Gayle became cot behind by Kamran Akmal. The bowler was Umar Gul.
