Dwayne Smith Becomes the First Bowler to Take Two Wickets in Two Consecutive Deliveries in the World Cup Cricket 2007

Dwayne Smith took two important wickets in the 32nd over of the Pakistan innings. After the dismissal of Mohammad Yousuf, Pakistan needed to have Inzamam-u;-Haq carrying on the innings to the end. However, Dwayne Smith made Inzamam-ul-Haq leg before at 36 facing 65 balls. Then in the immediate next ball, he took the wicket of Kamran Akmal making him a catch of Dwayne Bravo. Thus, he created the first chance of getting a hat trick in this world cup. However, Naved-ul-Hasan could play the next ball well making Dwayne Smith deprived of getting the hat trick wicket. Pakistan is now 137/6 after 39 overs. The match is becoming harder for Pakistan.
