Bollywood Movies: Being Bad is not Bad

India eNews has an interesting report about top figures in Bollywood liking to have wicked roles in Bollywood movies. Many top names are enjoying the idea of being bad in the movie.

The report stated:

Being wicked is again cool in Bollywood. It's the snowball effect after Saif Ali Khan in 'Omkara' and Hrithik Roshan in 'Dhoom 2', and everybody, from Naseeruddin Shah and Amitabh Bachchan to Bobby Deol and Viveik Oberoi are joining in.

Innocent-faced Sammir Dattani plays a ruthlessly ambitious politician in Vikram Bhatt's 'Life Mein Kabhi Kabhie'.

'I really enjoyed going grey in 'Life Mein Kabhi Kabhie'. It gave me a chance to do things which I wouldn't dream of doing in real life,' Sammir told IANS.

'Being ruthlessly ambitious doesn't come naturally to me. But even Abhishek (Bachchan) played a guy who thinks the end justifies the means in 'Guru'. I guess we're in for a time when morals are no longer that sharp-focussed,' he added.

All the actors and actresses are getting bored to be the good guy in the movies. Many of them are no where near to the roles they portray in the movie. So, may be, they are enjoying to have roles nearer to their real life.
