Shoaib Akhtar and Mohammad Aisf Will Play in the Upcoming ICC Cricket World Cup 2007?

Shoaib Akhtar and Mohammad Asif have gone dope controversy last year. Though Shoaid has participated in the series against South Africa, there is still an uncertainty over their participation in the coming World Cup Cricket 2007. There is a rumor that ICC will again go through the incident and will give the verdict over the incident. So, there is still a question mark on the inclusion of these two strike bowlers of Pakistan.

I think these two bowlers should give the chance to play this world cup cricket as this is said that they were not aware of the medicine they took due to their injuries. So, they should not be blamed for this reason. However, I think ICC should come up with some necessary rules which will direct the players to use any medicine they need for their injuries. Suppose, ICC can make a rule under which every player is to know if the medicine is approved by ICC before using the medicine. However, ICC will have to mark the medicines which are not appropriate for the players.

I think a transparency should be there in between a player and ICC. It is needed to be mentioned that cricket is just a game, a source of entertainment, not everything in life. So, both players and officials should have accountability to each of their respective field.
