Yuvraj and Kumble Comes into the Squad for the Ongoing Series against West Indies ahead of ICC World Cup Cricket 2007

Yuvraj Singh has overcome the first step to play in the upcoming world cup cricket west Indies in the coming March as he has been included in the team India for the last two one day international matches of ongoing India v West Indies series. Yuvraj has been out of the team since the last Champions Trophy due to a ligament injury. Another star cricketer and India’s most successful spinner of all time Anil Kumble has also been included in the national side for the rest of the series.

Sky Sports reported:

Chief selector Dilip Vengsarkar says that Yuvraj has now fully recovered from his knee injury to take his place back in the 15-man squad.

Veteran leg-spinner Kumble, who is India's top wicket-taker in both Test and one-day cricket, was told to rest for the first two matches of the series, but is now back in contention for the final two.

It seems that selectors are giving chances to the experienced players ahead of the ICC World Cup Cricket West Indies 2007. I think it is the best time to examine with the squad. As world cup is coming soon, it is needed to declare the squad as soon as possible so that the whole team can practice for long time and work out the problems among themselves before world cup.
