Aishwarya Rai: Who is Creating the Media Storm?

Aishwarya Rai is under constant watch of the media. It is natural too as she is one of the top Bollywood actresses of the present time. In the last few weeks, she came under media spotlight about at least 3 matters.

  1. The speculation of her marrying Abhishek Bachchan.
  2. The alleged misbehavior of her drunken bodyguard at the Pushkar temple.
  3. Her alleged jealousy of Mallika Sherawat and insisting that Mallika Sherawat not be present at Guru’s premiere at Canada.

Aishwarya Rai and some of her close friends are trying to say that she is innocent and the media is making fabricated stories.

Andhracafe wrote:

'No such clarification has been issued,' said a very dependable source. 'Because no incident happened at the Pushkar temple. The entire episode is as fabricated as the priest at the Madurai temple who's supposed to have seen Aishwarya and Abhishek Bachchan exchange garlands.

'We challenge the priest to come forward and please tell us when the two exchanged garlands. The Pushkar incident is again an example of the hounding that Aishwarya and her family have been facing throughout 2006.'

Explaining the true picture isn't easy. But a close friend of Aishwarya tried her best to put the matter into a perspective.

The friend said: 'Look, Aishwarya has been visiting temples and dargahs for years now. It's her habit to visit religious places wherever she is shooting. Since Ashutosh Gowariker's schedule in Rajasthan for 'Jodha-Akbar' was over, she decided to visit the temple and dargah before leaving the place.

I am just surprised about this report and I must say that I have serious doubt about the smartness of the PR team of Aishwarya Rai. If there is no base to these allegations then Aishwarya Rai should come forward strongly and deny them categorically. Her silence over these matters could only give birth to new speculations in the media.
