Anil Kapoor: An Evergreen Actor of Bollywod

Yesterday was the 47th birthday of bollywood star Anil Kapoor who has already got the mark of ever green hero of Bollywood as he is still playing the role of hero even with the new generation actress of Bollywood. Some of his upcoming movies are 'Salaam-e-Ishq', Subhash Ghai's 'Black and White' and Anees Bazmee's 'Welcome'. Moreover, some of his movies are still in production including 'Gandhi Viruddh Gandhi' and 'Shortcut'. The movie named ‘Shortcut’ is funded by Anil himself. I am quoting some of the lines from a Sahara Samay article regarding this big star of Bollywood:

The actor has run the Bollywood marathon for 27 years and 2007 looks promising with upcoming 'Salaam-e-Ishq', Subhash Ghai's 'Black and White' and Anees Bazmee's 'Welcome' slated for release as well as 'Gandhi Viruddh Gandhi' and 'Shortcut' which he is producing.

Anil made his Bollywood debut in Hamare Tumhare in 1979 where he had a supporting role. After a few minor roles in films such as Shakti (1982) he got his first leading role in the 1983 film Woh Saat Din and after that never looked back.

Born on 24 December in Mumbai started his career at the age of 20 and has delivered hits like Teejab, Ram Lakhan Parinda.

His father Surinder Kapoor and brother Boney Kapoor are producers, while younger brother Sanjay Kapoor is also a well known Bollywood actor though not as successful.

There is do doubt about the quality of an actor acting for last three decades and against actresses of different generation. It is now worthless to say that Anilji is going to take a distinct place Bollywood. I hope, with his talent and skill, he will produce many more hit movies for his fans.
